Rainforest Radicals uses the first two decades of Rainforest Action Network's history to tell a larger story about environmental action, North/South alliances, organizing, and the systemic assaults on the environment and human lives that have only grown in intensity since the end of World War Two. I'm especially grateful for the opportunity to have discussed the book on the Green and Red podcast. The subtitle for the podcast: "Media for Scrappy Radicals," is a great synopsis of what the podcast is about and why it's so important for anyone interested in helping shape a better planet.
